TV series I follow...

Lately i've been watching some sci/fi tv series like Stargate SG-1 all the 10!!! yes, 10 season's, and also Stargate Atlantis that at this time I write it's on episode 16 of season 4.


I loved all the episodes both from Stargate SG-1 leaded by Jack O'Neill on the serie and all the other characters presented there, and when I started to watch Stargate Atlantis, that was when I finished season 10 and the last of SG-1 sadly, I learned that the old tv serie spirit was also there so I'm still following this saga :) One of the best shows ever in my opinion.

I started to watch also Battlestar Galactica 2005 , a remake of the old serie of the 70's, Battlestar Galactica starring Richard Hatch as Apollo, and other great characters like Adama, and Starbuck.

Man, those were the times when I didn't missed a single episode from the old Battlestar Galactica series. Also the new remake of the Battlstar Galactica 2005 it's very good in another perspective.

Ahhh, music, I just love music.

My favourite band of all time it's Pink Floyd of course ;)

Albums like Dark Side of The Moon, The Final Cut, The Wall, Pulse, Delicate Sound of Thunder, The Division Bell, Wish You Were Here, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason makes the delights of anyone. I just love them.

The Pogues ;) , U2 , Within Temptation and so on and so on... the list is infinite ;)

Brasil - Portugal (0-2)

Amazing what a sport can do for people spirit. Soccer for us and specially for our brazilian brothers, it's part of our main culture and nature.

Yesterday we played against Brazil and we won on the second half of the game, by 0 -2.
Two superb goals by our finest players not forgetting the ones who made it possible by playing an excellent game, Ricardo Quaresma.

Starting coding

Yeap, finnaly I started learning PHP .

It's a good scripting language used mostly to build websites. With this new skill's I hope I will do something usefull in the near future ;)

To start with, just install Apache web server, MySQL and PHP and start reading... I learned that most things we learn in IT field comes from books or the Internet.

University generally is not a must to be good at something in IT daily work despite many managers that still believe that a graduated student he's better than a good man with proves given on his work.
